REAL TALKThis is from the Iron Man 3 prelude mini that Marvel Comics released before the movie came out, to explain Rhodey’s whereabouts during the events of The Avengers and to provide backstory on the Ten Rings for IM3, among other stuff.
So whoa yeah TAKE A LOOK AT THAT SHIT UP THERE. Rhodey has already met the MCU Avengers! He ate shawarma with them! He probably glared at Tony from around his food and wondered why Captain America was asleep at the goddamned table!
